What are the best tricks to learn to play tennis?
I'm in high school, and wants to join the tennis team, I I practice all summer 2 hours a day with my friend (who is also a beginner), and both desperately need help. Since we are only teenagers, we can not hire someone to train, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
KISS Keep It Simple Stupid Learn to master the basics, forehand and backhand, slice shots, ground strokes and balloons. Depending on whether you're good, you start learning to get on the net. When you get over 95% of the time to move to more delicate shots. Much can be done off the field, simple things like going to practice forehand backhand. Maintain proper motions also help, it sounds stupid (and is) but simply to prevent cracks in a paved road will help a lot. So overdone, too much can cause injuries, best way to learn is to enjoy so be sure to have fun with and take it too seriously. Hope this helps!
