Which do u think is the best grip and shock dampeners for tennis racquets?
i mean overgrips...................the company and model numbers
Aditya, I did a full evaluation of 8 different brands and models of Overgrips last fall. Bottom line the Best is Yonex SuperGrap followed by Wilson Pro Over and third is Gamma Supreme Over.

Prince and TechiFibre both felt greasy and TournaGrip blue sticks to your leather when you try removing it and breaks down quickly too. Volkl isn't bad though I'd put it 4th.
Dampers - personal preference since some like them wide like the Prince Vibrazorb
or worm so it covers more main strings and dampens better but you loose more feel.

I still use Volkl dampers in my Wilson Kfactor tour 90's. Easy to insert and the shape is the same on both sides so no one can predict the butt cap result when I spin for serve.

Dampers are a cosmetic choice thing that pretty much all work the same no matter what the manufacturer writes on the packaging. What ever you do don't put an elastic band or rubber band in your strings. Not only does it look STUPID it doesn't dampen worth shat.
